List of goods and items prohibited from shipment

International shipping is subject to certain requirements. In particular, the contents of the parcel shall comply with the laws of Israel and the recipient country. Each sender is responsible for their compliance. That is why it is important to know what items are prohibited from international shipping.

  • Cigarettes and other tobacco products
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Perishable goods (sausages, fresh fruits, vegetables)
  • Original documents: passport, birth certificate, etc.
  • Medicines containing psychotropic and narcotic substances (sleeping pills, strong painkillers, sedatives, etc.)
  • Firearms, signaling, pneumatic, gas or cold steel arms (including projectant weapons), ammunition, electric shock devices and spark arresters, as well as the main parts of firearms
  • Drugs and narcotic drugs of any origin
  • Radioactive substances
  • Explosive (gunpowder, fireworks), caustic, toxic (insecticides, mercury, etc.), flammable (aerosols, lighters) and other dangerous substances (poison, etc.)
  • Medicines, including ointments, for example, "Voltaren", as well as dietary supplements, vitamins
  • Animals and plants
  • Antiques; collectibles
  • Works of arts
  • Jewelry, precious metals and stones
  • Money (coins and banknotes)
  • Money documents in any form: payment orders, checks, vouchers, securities, bonds, coupons, shares, credit cards
  • Postage stamps
  • Articles and publications of an obscene nature and content, pornography
  • Radiotelephones
  • Human remains and organs, ashes
  • Items prohibited by the World Transport Association
  • Items that, by their nature or packaging, may pose a danger to postal workers, soiling or spoiling other items and equipment*
  • Other goods prohibited for shipping, in accordance with the Universal Postal Union acts and the customs legislation of the recipient country.

Lithium batteries, phones, lighters, deodorants, household chemicals are prohibited for air transportation, but are allowed for sea transportation.
